Write the incident, the proposed source provision and the action taken. Keep your note readable rather than exhaustive.
Mark outstanding questions
If something remains unresolved, record the reason and ask the appropriate official. Do not silently turn an assumption into a completed action.
Review after practice
Explain the entry to another player. If you cannot connect the action to the stated condition, reopen the rule text.
